Pita Bread Pizza


Not only healthy, but this quick pizza can be made to your individual tastes.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 six inch pitas
  • 1/2 cup prepared spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 small onion or several green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 package pepperoni, sliced
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

PREPARATION:

1. If baking the pizzas, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degress C). If grilling, don't preheat the oven.

2. While one of you is preparing the sauce, the other should start preparing the toppings.
