Jimmy Fallon Gets Engaged

Jimmy Fallon and his long-time girlfriend Nancy Juvonen got engaged over the weekend.

Amy Winehouse and husband Blake Fielder-Civil agreed to go into drugs rehab after seeing their dads nearly come to blows, friends said last night.

Amy was in tears after the row during a showdown with their families over their heroin and cocaine addiction.

A source close to the family told the Mirror: "It broke Amy's heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting.

"That was the point when she realised all the drink and drugs were causing huge problems for everybody."

The party-loving couple flew to the US for intensive counselling and detox treatment after also seeing a leading Harley Street doctor recommended by former wild child Kelly Osbourne.

BriefSafe

The problem with most safes is that experienced burglers know how to crack them. "Brief Safe" offers the next best thing which is basically stained underwear that securely stores valuables in a 4" x 10" secret compartment with velcro closure. Available now for $9 from Shomer.
"Leave the "Brief Safe" in plain view in your laundry basket or washing machine at home, or in your suitcase in a hotel room - even the most hardened burgler or most curious snoop will "skid" to a screeching halt as soon as they see them."

Jamaica's Anglican church to modernize hymnals with reggae songs

KINGSTON, Jamaica: Songs by late reggae legends Bob Marley and Peter Tosh — both devout Rastafarians — will be included in a new collection of Anglican church hymnals in Jamaica.

Marley's "One Love" and Tosh's "Psalm 27" will be the first reggae tunes to appear in songbooks alongside traditional worship music on the island that gave birth to reggae, said church leaders preparing a new collection of hymns.

Church spokesman Rev. Ernle Gordon said on Friday that members of the Anglican Church of Jamaica were enthusiastic about including the reggae musicians' music in the hymnals, despite their sometimes vocal opposition to Christianity.

"They may have been anti-church, but they were not anti-God or anti-religion," said Gordon, adding that including the songs would help modernize Jamaica's hymnals.

Marley and Tosh, who both died in the 1980s after becoming international music stars, practiced Rastafarianism, a faith founded by descendants of slaves in response to black oppression.

Do Fairies live @ the bottom of your Gargen?

!! PLEASE READ !!

The following statement was issued by Dan Baines on 1st April 2007 -

Dear All

Thank you for the interest you have shown in my story.

Even if you believe in fairies, as I personally do, there will always have been an element of doubt in your mind that would suggest the remains are a hoax. However, the magic created by the possibility of the fairy being real is something you will remember for the rest of your life.

Alas the fairy is fake but my interest and belief has allowed me to create a work of art that is convincing and magical. I was also interested to see if fairy folklore is still a valid belief in modern society and I am pleased to say that yes it is! I have had more response from believers than I ever thought possible.

As well as an artist I am also a magician and you have been my fantastic audience. That spark of magic ignited your imagination and made your day more memorable and exciting.

I believe fairies to be Earth spirits rather than physical beings so my performance was slightly flawed. The question stills begs to answered though, are they made of flesh and blood like you and I?

I hope you have not been offended by the events of the past few days but if you are I sincerely apologise. It took 50 years for the Cottingley fairies to be revealed as a hoax; at least you’ve only had to endure a few days of mystery.

I will be adding a section to by website to document the Derbyshire Fairy, please let me know if you’d like to be updated.

Kind Regards

Dan
