Recipe of the day:Currie Channa



Ingredients:
1 onion chopped
1 tablespoon of ketchup
2 tablespoons of curry powder
1 teaspoon of hot pepper sauce
1 can of (19 oz.) chick peas
1 tablespoon of cooking oil
1 minced garlic clove
garlic-salt and pepper for flavor

Preparation:
First drain off chick peas, retaining halfa cup of liquid. Add the oil and saute theonion and garlic.
Next add the curry powder, and cook gentlyfor at least 1 minutes.
Add the chick peas along with onion mixtureand then fry for at least 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and reservedthe liquid. For at least 15 minutes simmergently and serve the Curried Channa hot or warm.
